GRAND HOTEL POMORIE

Grand Hotel Pomorie is a year-round five-star hotel complex, located in the northeastern part of the city of Pomorie, 15 minutes from Burgas International Airport.
The hotel is located on a narrow strip of land between the shores of the Black Sea and the Pomorie Salt Lake. The lake was formed naturally thousands of years ago by the gradual accumulation of sandbanks that separated it from the sea. Such lakes are called lagoons. Water enters naturally when the sea is rough, when it floods the sandbank and artificially through a constructed channel. The water-salt balance of the lake is very variable. This contributes to the formation of the two main healing products in the lake – estuarine healing mud and lye. It has been proven that the healing mud extracted from the salt lake ranks among the best in the world.
The hotel has 178 rooms and suites, a medical spa, completely renovated in 2020, multipurpose conference rooms, excellent restaurants and bars.
All meeting rooms are air conditioned and fully equipped with appliances, plus free Wifi internet access.

EXPLORING POMORIE

The town of  Pomorie is located on a narrow rocky peninsula, indented 3.5 km. in the Black Sea, on the northwest coast of the Burgas Bay. From the south, east and northeast, the city is surrounded by the sea, and from the north – by Lake Pomorie.
From there passes one of the main routes of bird migration from Europe to Africa – Via Pontica, 269 species of birds have been found.

The beach of Pomorie is unique because of the fine black sand that is typical only for this region.
In addition to sea and spa tourism, Pomorie also develops cultural tourism. The ancient history of the city and the rich cultural and historical heritage are of interest to tourists.
One of the most interesting cultural sites is undoubtedly the Ancient Dome Tomb near Pomorie. The dating of the monument refers to II-IV c. AD The site is a cultural monument of national importance.
The salt museum in the city of Pomorie is the only one not only in our country but also in the whole of Eastern Europe. Dedicated to one of the oldest preserved livelihoods in the Pomorie region – salt mining.
